Anthony M. La Pinta is one of Long Island's most respected and successful trial attorneys. He has been practicing law for more than 23 years, focusing on all phases of federal and state criminal defense and serious personal injury cases.

He has represented clients charged with conspiracy, Hobbs Act violations, money laundering, murder, racketeering, mail and wire fraud, public corruption, narcotics distribution, larceny, robbery, burglary, DWI, and all other offenses in both federal and state courts.

Also maintaining a significant civil law practice, Mr. La Pinta represents plaintiffs in all serious personal injury matters such as wrongful death, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, work-related accidents and professional liability cases. He has obtained numerous noteworthy trial verdicts and settlements in courts throughout the New York metropolitan region.

Mr. La Pinta has been an adjunct professor of criminal law at St. Joseph's College since 2008. He is routinely invited to lecture on the topic of trial advocacy at Touro Law School and the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations. He has been invited to participate in the Yale University Mock Trial Invitational Competition and has been an instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy since 2004.
